Founded in 1983, The Muskin Company specializes in quality construction in urban, "infill" locations in the Austin area. We were early supporters of the "Smart Growth" movement and have been awarded various citywide accolades, including the Neighborhood Revitalization Award and Custom Builder of the Year Award from the Austin Board of Realtors. As a proud participant in the Austin Green Building Program, we're also committed to environmentally friendly construction, whether we're remodeling your kitchen or creating your dream home.

In the past thirty years, we have built over 350 custom and speculative homes in Austin's most popular neighborhoods, including Old West Austin, Hyde Park, Zilker Park, Mueller, Tarrytown, Rosedale, Northwest Hills, Crestview, and Bouldin Creek. Because we recognize and value the character of each Austin neighborhood, all of our home designs are "site specific," and we work closely with the city's top architects to ensure that each individual design is compatible with its surroundings.

Over the past thirty years, we have developed a process that has established us as one of Austin's premier home builders and remodelers. We combine our values of a "hands on approach" to construction with clients, collaborative efforts with architects, designers, contractors, and long-term custom crews with a depth of knowledge of city and neighborhood design standards. This has enabled us to satisfy many new customers, as well as repeat clients, in new constructions and remodels.

We have new homes for sale and lots for custom construction, which are currently available in neighborhoods such as the Mueller mixed-use redevelopment and other central Austin locations.
